First day of school... Moments of 'newness'

There' moments you see your kids go through where you identify with them completely. No matter how confident, accepted or secure they are, there are those moments of 'newness' that feel like there is nothing to talk about. First days of school are filled with such things.

Most of the time, they bounce back and find their stride, as if nothing was ever different. For our little observer, Chloe watches with a reserved presence beyond her years.

Just a little led zeppelin... For the kids...

What happens when summer is winding down? Of course you take the kids to go see a little Led Zeppelin in the park...

This cover band was pretty insane! The did an amazing job... They soundedjust like the real thing. Big hair, big lungs, and lots of open chest hair....

Chloe made funny faces and Tucker did some air guitar... Cuz he was just feelin' it.

So was i.... Had to get the led out...

Some of my favorite shots from London...

I went back through some of the shots I took in London this Summer...

and these grabbed me...

In a couple weeks i get to go back to Italy with my Daughter. I'm very
much looking forward to it...

Tuck and I had fun this weekend: Westmont Campus

We were on Westmont Campus this weekend hanging out with other members of the Heritage Club... it was the first time i've been back to do an Alumni event in a while. One of the most significant memories for me was to see Tucker playing soccer with a bunch of other guys from all ages... there's a type of unwritten language that is passed on... just from playing the game.

Wall art in Santa Barbara...

Tuck and I were in Santa Barbara this weekend and we were heading back to the car when this shot absolutely grabbed me! I had to put Tucker on the ledge and snap a shot...

Westmont Soccer Alumni Get together...

About a dozen dads and their sons attended Westmont's annual Training
camp this weekend. It was a blast. We connected with current players
and had a good time playing some pick-up games with our sons. This is
the 4th year that the event has been organized by the Soccer Alumni
Heritage Club.

Looking forward to it next year as well.
