At this age they don't get much action on the field. The pitcher pretty much throws a wild pitch every time, hitting the backstop. T-man usually doesn't like playing catcher, but he did well today. two hour game, and the kid touches the ball like 8 times. Something is wrong with baseball at this age.

At least they like the gear.

Tucker is 7... and he can now claim that he's surfed before his dad.
On his very first wave, he stood up! I could see him light up and take
all the responsibility of his own. We had a lot of guidance from Zane,
the cool instructor, but it was one of those moments that was
incredible to watch as a dad.

Maui is a great place to teach a kid (or even an adult) how to surf.
Warm water, forgiving waves, and steady long boards.

I see how surfers get hooked on the sport.

we had a good week on the island of Maui. A lot of good sun, beach,
snorkel and surf.

Having dinner now, and had the kids summarize their day for me... Highlight was snorkeling!

3:45am, packed up and ready to take off... Looking forward to some beach time!

Chloe's favorite thing in the whole world is to sink into a good book. Kicking off her birthday week, she now has over 10thousand pages in her kindle she can take with her anywhere.
