Every now and then I see the stacks of school projects getting higher
and higher... When I was a kid these were saved for YEARS... but never
really documented.
 
Thank goodness for the digital camera... and now I can keep a few and
document the rest.
 
There's a bunch of favorites in this bunch... but one in particular
jumped out at me.. from Tucker.
 
"Mom, I love you more than Apple Sauce."

the kids both wanted to get their faces painted at the Labor day
'Thrill & Chill' event... so we emerged with two little...

 puppies.

So here is something cool... Hand-made leaf buddies, kind-uv like an ugly doll, but better... Made by my friend, radmegan.

After a full week in Ventura, we wrapped up on the live-action and I headed north... The light finds these hills beautifully...

It's a monster, but it should be pretty sweet when it's done.

After a long day of recording, set foot on the Ventura pier... Just what I needed... Air in my lungs and the smell of sea.

The other night I threw the ball with Heather for about 30 min. or so in the dark... She was TIRED.... so much so that I just watched her lay in the grass and watch me back.
I went into the house to get the camera. I sat in the grass and took a bunch of shots of our tired girl...

She's a good girl...

I've been coming back to the same spot in Santa Barbara for 15 years... filled with memories each time. The most amazing thing... is that every time I go back...it is EXACTLY the same as it has ever been! (map)

You never know what you're going to get... but the other morning I got a free piano concert before the kids went off to school...

it was cool.... thanks guys. Made my day.

There's all kinds of things going on during the first couple days of school... but on the first day Chloe had to write a letter to the teacher...

...it was fun to see how much fun she had getting an assignment together.
