Cello time...

School is starting... Chloe will start the cello this year. We picked it up in a place that was wall-to-wall violins and cellos. Wild.

Remembering beach weather...

So quickly the tides turn... and a fond memory was the warm beach of
Santa Barbara only a few weeks ago.

The air is getting crisper, at least so it appears, and the fall is
knocking at the door. It's fun to remember beach weather.

Back from Extreme Camp...

Gotta love Extreme camp. Chloe was gone for almost a week for
overnight Extreme camp... which basically means that they were doing a
lot of stuff.

New friends and a bunch of memories.

Fountain Hunting in Half Moon Bay

We were on assignment this morning to find a fountain for our backyard

project, which *just* started this week.

We were guided to a massive outdoor shop called Sun Studio where they
have a nice selection of fountains.

Afterwards, we hit some lunch at the Ritz-Carlton in Half-Moon Bay.
Swanky place, great for a drink or cocktail but we weren't impressed
with the food at all. Fun morning in Half-moon Bay... but get there
early, the traffic as we noticed on the way out was bumper to bumper.

San Jose giants game

Tucker and I went to the San Jose Giants game the other night. For a little kid, the big boy baseball game is even BETTER when it's in a smaller, more intimate baseball park.

Having gone to both SF Giants and now the San Jose Giants games... I have to say... I prefer the San Jose Giants. Closer to the action, more approachable atmosphere, and WAY cheaper tickets :)

We'll be back, since it's only a 15 min drive with parking on the street, vs a 1 hour drive (both ways) and $$$ bucks everywhere you turn in the city.

Favorite Images from Santa Barbara Vacation

We had quite a trip this year. It was a *real* vacation!
Out to eat, Kayaking, Legoland, the beach & the Santa Barbara zoo!

Here's a bunch of photos from our two weeks in Santa Barbara.
The beach, eating ice Cream, SB mission, Brophy Brothers, & 4th of July parade were highlights.

Each day we went for a run & bike ride. The 'June Gloom' socked us in
during the first week, but the 2nd week was brilliant.

Last day in Santa Barbara, and I took Tucker to my favorite Mexican stand in Santa Barbara, La super Rica!

#16,17 &18 hit the spot! Not to mention the fresh-made Horchata!

At the beach now with Chloe... Last
Day of calm before an insane week ahead.
